Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:

Inventory & Budget Management:

  • Keep stock levels of linen, amenities, and cleaning materials at proper levels.
  • Control department expenses by using materials and labor efficiently.
  • Suggest ways to save costs without affecting service quality.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure staff follow hotel rules, safety measures, and hygiene standards.
  • Train staff on chemical handling, equipment use, and safety practices.
  • Conduct safety drills and awareness training regularly.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work with Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry for smooth operations.
  • Maintain reports for room status, productivity, inventory, and incidents.
  • Attend management meetings and contribute to service improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or related fields preferred.
  • Diploma or certification in housekeeping or hotel management is an advantage.
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role.
  • Good leadership, team management, and budgeting skills.
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment, supplies, and health regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
