We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

Recovery Officer (Written Off)

Location: Egbeda, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Main Responsibilities

Recovery Management:

  • Evaluate delinquent accounts to encourage prompt repayment.
  • Ensure at least half of the Par 1-90 portfolio clients are contacted.
  • Facilitate a smooth handover of client portfolios.
  • Maintain proper documentation from Client Officers in each client’s file.

Asset Seizure / Sales:

  • Execute asset recovery actions independently when necessary.
  • Secure seized items promptly with correct records.
  • Coordinate pricing and communicate issues with the Recovery Head.
  • Plan recoveries in a way that the sales cover outstanding loan balances.

Arrears Portfolio Oversight:

  • Analyze portfolio segments to locate potential risks.
  • Follow up on existing repayment agreements and create new ones.
  • Identify problems in recovery efforts and work with supervisors on solutions.
  • Report difficult cases (minimum of five weekly) for committee discussion.

Minimizing Loan Losses:

  • Take proactive steps to handle risky accounts and reduce bank exposure.
  • Engage parties early for settlements and reduce loan write-offs.
  • Develop creative recovery strategies aside from refinancing or restructuring.
  • Work toward reducing monthly write-off targets by 30%.

Generic Responsibilities:

  • Track overdue loans and customer files.
  • Contact debtors via phone, letters, or field visits.
  • Implement loan recovery procedures.
  • Maintain customer relations when practical.
  • Meet recovery targets and renegotiate terms if needed.

Controls:

  • Verify all overdue notices and correspondence.
  • Monitor customers for compliance with repayment timelines.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications with 3 to 4 years experience.

SME Relationship Officer

Job Description

  • Oversee debt recovery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Commercial Outreach:

  • Target SME clients within business hubs.

  • Maintain consistent contact with potential clients.
  • Suggest new services to meet evolving client needs.
  • Build strong customer relationships.

Loan Operations:

  • Support clients with loan applications.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and gather necessary data.

  • Conduct frequent field visits and build community trust.

Deposits & Savings:
