Reefer Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Check, monitor, and maintain reefer containers according to client needs and internal protocols
- Attach reefers to power, verify settings, and log any mismatches
- Detect and report faults during assigned shifts
- Inspect containers before vessel loading and coordinate with ground staff
- Carry out Pre-Trip Inspections and retrieve reefer data as needed
- Follow safety rules and keep workstations neat and tidy
Qualifications & Skills
- OND, HND, Trade Test, or Internship in Electrical Engineering or similar
- At least 2 years of experience in refrigeration and electrical repairs
- Knowledge of compressors, piping, insulation, and electric repairs
- Good understanding of global and local safety practices
- Attention to detail with solid organization and housekeeping abilities
