Production Manager

Location: Lagos

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production Manager to manage the complete production workflow in our fashion facility.
The suitable applicant must be experienced in clothing production, have solid leadership abilities, and a firm grasp of fashion production requirements and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and plan all garment production activities from samples to finished goods.
  • Work closely with designers and pattern makers to ensure styles and instructions are followed.
  • Assign responsibilities to staff like tailors and machine operators while maintaining productivity and quality.
  • Track daily outputs to meet deadlines and delivery targets.
  • Apply and maintain quality standards across production stages.
  • Manage material sourcing and maintain stock levels of fabrics and accessories.
  • Quickly handle any production-related challenges.
  • Keep production logs and update management regularly.
  • Enforce workplace safety standards.
  • Recommend process improvements to cut costs and increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fashion Design, Production, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience in garment production or a similar environment.
  • Deep understanding of garment making, fabrics, and tailoring.
  • Ability to lead production staff effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with production tracking software is a plus.
  • Residence on Lagos Island or in the Yaba area is preferred.
