1. Legal & Regulatory Operations Analyst

Role
We need an insightful Legal & Regulatory Operations Analyst to strengthen our legal function. You will help us stay compliant with all legal and regulatory obligations while improving departmental efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Operations
- Administer and improve our contract-lifecycle tools (repositories, templates, trackers).
- Oversee end-to-end contract workflows—drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and coordinating signatures with stakeholders.
- Draft and update internal policies, SOPs, and legal guides.
- Coordinate with external counsel and teams on litigation and dispute matters.
- Track legal spend, manage vendors, and handle invoicing.
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
- Monitor changes from CBN, NDIC, NITDA, NFIU, FCCPC, and others; brief teams on impacts.
- Manage timely regulatory filings, periodic returns, audit responses, and on-site inspections.
- Maintain compliance calendars and engagement logs.
- Support internal audits with Risk, Finance, and Internal Control teams.
- Prepare reports for committees (ExCo, Board) and regulators.
- Liaise with regulators and law-enforcement agencies.
Cross-Functional Support
- Advise Product, Credit, and CX teams on legal aspects of product features, T&Cs, and onboarding.
- Contribute to risk-management and governance frameworks.
- Deliver training to foster a culture of compliance.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- LL.B and BL.
- 2–4 years’ post-call experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory roles—preferably in fintech or financial services.
- Proven record of regulator engagement.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong legal drafting and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with execution focus.
- High integrity with sensitive data.
- Familiarity with CBN Paperlite, NFIU GoAML, NDPR, etc.
- Comfortable with Google Workspace, Excel, legal tech, and project-management tools.

2. Senior Platform Engineer
Location: Lagos

About the Role
You’ll work across diverse systems, from our physical data centers to AWS-powered services such as Kubernetes, Cassandra, DynamoDB, and Terraform, building scalable and resilient infrastructure for Carbon’s growth.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain our evolving platform and services.
- Mentor colleagues on running production systems confidently.
- Guide teams on deployment, configuration, and scalability across the stack.

Requirements
