Job Summary
The Facility Manager will be in charge of managing daily operations and maintaining the infrastructure and essential systems of the building.
This includes supervising the maintenance crew, coordinating necessary repairs, and performing hands-on tasks involving plumbing, air conditioning, electrical work, and carpentry.
The goal is to ensure facilities remain functional, safe, and in line with required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the activities of maintenance and technical teams.
- Carry out repairs in plumbing, air conditioning, electrical installations, and carpentry.
- Ensure smooth functioning and regular servicing of systems like HVAC, electrical, and water supply.
- Inspect the premises periodically to detect maintenance needs and ensure compliance.

- Keep updated maintenance records and stock inventory.
- Attend to urgent repair needs swiftly and resolve technical issues.
- Track facility-related expenses and work within budget.
- Apply preventive maintenance programs for major systems.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and local building codes.
Key Requirements
- OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Hospitality, or related areas.
- At least 3 years’ experience in facility management, preferably in hospitality.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Certifications or vocational training in relevant trades are a plus.
- Good understanding of building safety practices and technical manuals.
- Capable of interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Computer skills to manage records and schedules.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
Working Conditions
