Main Accountabilities
- Managing the bakery department/store operations
- Ensuring excellent customer service delivery by bakery staff
- Supervising staff to welcome customers warmly
- Placing orders for bakery products using electronic systems
- Assigning daily tasks
- Developing advertising and marketing strategies
- Ensuring strict food safety compliance and standards
- Keeping updated knowledge of baking techniques and bakery goods
- Presenting specialty cakes professionally
- Conducting staff training on pastry making and store regulations
- Supervising Pastry Chefs
- Establishing bakery department rules and workplace practices
- Conducting quality control for bakery products
- Maintaining sufficient product quantity
- Presenting baked products attractively
- Ordering cleaning materials
- Managing inventory levels
- Maintaining proofing boxes
- Organizing and planning sales activities
- Collaborating with other departments
- Creating quick-sale items to boost sales
- Updating bakery software systems
- Any other duties assigned
Requirements
- A Higher National Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Culinary Management, Business and Hospitality Management, or Hotel and Catering Management.
- Other Required Competencies:

Salary:
N200,000 – N300,000 per month.

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
- Receiving and maintaining inventories of supplies and materials
- Managing stock levels to ensure smooth production
- Reviewing inventory systems and recommending improvements
- Complying with safety and quality standards
- Processing requisitions and orders for raw materials and stock items
- Moving items for dispatch and placing materials on shelves
- Recording quantities of received and dispatched materials
- Maintaining organized storage areas
- Sorting items by size, type, or color codes
- Compiling inventory balances and updating price lists
- Monitoring expiry dates
- Reporting damages, losses, or surplus materials

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 – 5 years relevant experience.
