Senior Architect

Job Description
As a senior-level architect, you will design and lead major construction projects, including alterations and renovations. You will apply technical knowledge and advanced drawing skills to develop buildings that are practical, secure, environmentally responsible, and visually appealing. You’ll remain involved from planning to completion, adjusting plans as needed to meet budget, environmental, or client requirements. You will also oversee and guide junior architects.
Responsibilities
- Developing building plans and intricate drawings manually and with CAD tools
- Coordinating with construction experts on project feasibility
- Addressing factors like zoning laws, environmental constraints, and project finances
- Collaborating with professionals such as engineers, project managers, and surveyors
- Preparing and delivering reports, proposals, and contracts
- Defining technical project needs
- Modifying plans based on site conditions or client changes
- Participating in project and team supervision
- Handling other related tasks when needed
Requirements
- Qualification: Master’s and BSc Degree / HND in Architecture (Design and Drafting)
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years post-graduation experience
Project Experience Required:
- Ability to interpret client briefs and clearly communicate them to the design team
- Demonstrated ability to assess project risks and provide guidance to management
Technical Competencies:
- Ability to capture project briefs and share with the team
- Awareness of current architectural styles and trends
- Confident in leading client discussions
- Good understanding of BOQ, civil, MEP, and procurement workflows
- Strong grasp of design compliance and architectural guidelines (e.g., NEUFERT)
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc., including mood board creation
- Familiar with architectural design procedures and methods
- Excellent visual interpretation and attention to detail
- Skilled in 3D representation and creative thinking
- Committed to sustainable design and building environments
- Experience in preparing quality construction documents
- Ability to merge Civil and MEP considerations into designs
- Familiarity with local planning regulations
- Skilled in site assessment and approval drawing preparation

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Description
Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols that align with legal regulations and industry practices.
Responsibilities
Policy Creation and Enforcement:
- Formulate and execute workplace safety protocols in line with OSHA and other standards
- Regularly review and update safety documentation
- Conduct hazard evaluations and risk control
- Ensure third-party contractors follow HSE rules
Training and Awareness:
- Organize training on PPE, emergency response, and hazardous materials
- Conduct onboarding HSE training for new staff
- Promote safety awareness throughout the workforce
Inspection and Compliance:
- Carry out site safety assessments regularly
- Identify and correct potential hazards
- Certify and maintain tools and machinery in safe condition
- Track regulatory compliance and propose updates
Emergency Management:
- Design emergency procedures for both office and field teams
- Lead fire and evacuation drills
- Maintain emergency kits and safety tools in good condition
Incident Handling:
- Lead investigations of accidents and near-misses
- Generate safety reports with actionable insights
- Maintain accurate logs and ensure timely reporting
Team and Stakeholder Coordination:
- Facilitate monthly safety meetings across departments
- Set up site-based safety committees
- Act as liaison during safety audits and resolve worker concerns
PPE and Equipment Oversight:
- Ensure all workers are provided with required protective gear
- Check PPE condition regularly and enforce usage
- Maintain safety equipment standards
Regulatory and Data Management:
- Keep track of evolving safety laws
- Manage relevant permits, reports, and data
- Review monthly safety statistics and spot trends
Qualifications:
- Master’s and Bachelor’s / HND in related field
- NEBOSH IGC + Construction Safety Certification
Experience:
- 10–15 years in HSE roles, including 3+ years in a managerial position
