Technical Support Engineer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary
The Technical Support Engineer will carry out project-specific technical evaluations related to energy efficiency and solar setups for residential, commercial, or industrial users. The role requires applying technical knowledge of energy needs, regional climate conditions, and solar innovations. The individual will also handle customer issues at project sites to ensure systems function smoothly.

Core Responsibilities

  • Resolve technical challenges during system design, execution, and post-installation for timely delivery
  • Conduct site inspections to gather relevant data for solar system feasibility
  • Assist in the design of PV and solar thermal systems to meet safety and performance standards
  • Support field teams by offering real-time technical direction during setup and system testing
  • Create accurate electrical plans and layout diagrams using CAD tools
  • Evaluate data from project locations to improve performance and identify design risks
  • Develop detailed system plans and documentation needed for approval, purchase, and setup

Requirements

  • BSc in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in solar system installations
  • Strong grasp of solar system principles and thermal dynamics
  • Proficiency with CAD design tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities
  • Willingness to learn and adjust quickly

What We Offer

  • Monthly Salary: ₦120,000 – ₦200,000

Customer Service Officer

Position Summary
This role connects customers with the company throughout their solar experience—from initial contact to after-sales support. The Customer Service Officer addresses queries, manages service records, and coordinates with the operations team to deliver satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage customer inquiries across phone, email, or walk-ins related to installations, billing, and support
  • Be the customer’s first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and helpful experience
  • Liaise with operations and tech teams to resolve issues and track installation progress
  • Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems
  • Explain basic solar system operations, warranties, and usage support
  • Handle service orders and complaints, escalating where needed
  • Gather feedback to help improve service delivery and user experience
  • Stay informed about solar products and provide accurate information

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Renewable Energy, or related area
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in solar or tech fields
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills
  • Willingness to learn solar technologies
  • Good at solving problems and working with teams
  • Friendly, professional approach to service
  • Competent in CRM and Microsoft Office tools
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment

Job Overview
We’re seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery in our solar initiatives. The role involves overseeing project execution, guiding technical teams, ensuring innovation, and maintaining high standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Direct technical staff, promote inter-team communication, and ensure roles and goals are clearly defined
  • Planning and Delivery: Create comprehensive project plans with accurate timelines and budget estimates. Track execution and handle risks
  • Technical Oversight: Approve solar designs and ensure performance goals are met. Stay updated with emerging technologies
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders and ensure clarity in technical updates
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Review key project metrics and seek ways to enhance efficiency and outcomes
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all technical activities comply with relevant laws and environmental standards. Keep documentation complete and updated

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in the solar energy industry
  • Proven experience managing technical projects
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage
