Operations Lead
Location: Ajah / Ikota, Lagos

Job Summary : We are looking for a proactive and organized Operations Lead to manage day-to-day functions across our recycling operations.
This role supports our mission of building sustainable circular economy models in Africa. The person will oversee logistics, staff coordination, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily recycling activities including collection, sorting, and processing.
- Coordinate workflow among various teams like collection, sorting, and processing units.
- Track and report production goals and performance metrics.
- Lead a team consisting of supervisors, machine handlers, and logistics staff.
- Train team members on best practices and safety procedures.
- Set up new centres in accordance with company standards.
- Identify areas needing improvement and implement better processes.
- Reduce delays and optimize productivity.
- Apply sustainable practices to reduce the company’s environmental impact.
- Enforce compliance with safety rules and environmental laws.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure adherence to waste disposal rules.
- Champion a safety-first work culture.
- Manage inventory and timely procurement of materials.
- Supervise equipment maintenance and facility upkeep.
- Ensure non-recyclable waste is disposed of correctly.
- Build and maintain partnerships with waste vendors and government bodies.
- Work closely with HR, finance, and sales to align operational objectives.
- Present performance and operational reports to senior management.
- Keep records of outputs, inventory, and staff performance.
- Set and track operational KPIs for continual improvement.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in operations, preferably in manufacturing or sustainability sectors.
- Proven leadership and administrative capabilities.
- Skilled in Excel or Google Sheets; knowledge of operations software is advantageous.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.

Backend Engineer

Job Summary
This role requires building and improving backend systems and integrating cloud services and databases. As a Backend Engineer, you’ll work on creating tech solutions that contribute to environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain backend APIs and services using C#.
- Manage SQL databases for accuracy, performance, and protection.
- Use Azure Cloud services to improve system scalability and reliability.
- Quickly troubleshoot and solve backend issues.
- Work with product teams, frontend engineers, and data analysts.
- Follow best coding practices to ensure code quality and safety.
- Perform assigned tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with C# in backend development.
- Certifications are an advantage.
- Skilled in SQL database management.
- Azure Cloud Architecture experience is essential.

Recycling Center Coordinator
Location: Apapa, Lagos

Job Summary : This position involves overseeing recycling facility operations to ensure smooth production and quality control. The Coordinator helps us reach our sustainability goals.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via calls, emails, or in person.
- Evaluate recyclable materials brought in by customers and assist in sales.
- Handle administrative and accounting-related tasks.
- Ensure all staff and contractors meet performance goals.
- Supervise daily operations and manage interns.
- Oversee shipment activities for inbound and outbound goods.
- Maintain a safe and accessible center environment for customers.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate where needed.
- Assist with tasks across other regional locations when necessary.
- Set timelines for tasks and monitor project milestones.
- Help with preparing budgets and financial reports.
- Communicate issues and updates with the management team.
- Manage office tasks to control costs and improve productivity.
- Assist with implementing grant work plans where applicable.
- Seek new customers for recycling services.
- Monitor turnover timelines and optimize pricing models.
- Keep proper records for all sales and payments.

Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in Communication, Business Admin, Environmental Science, or similar field.
- 1–2 years’ experience in team management.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience in recycling and community engagement is beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Must be based near Apapa.
