About the Program
The TechnoServe Nigeria Internship Programme gives recent graduates from various fields hands-on experience through structured internship roles. Interns gain practical exposure in the livelihood sector and support their academic, professional, and personal growth. These internships can be full-time or part-time in any of the following areas:
- Operations Department: Manages daily activities such as travel logistics, fleet oversight, safety and security, inventory control, procurement, non-fringe insurance, and asset management.
- Finance Department: Oversees the organisation’s finances, including cash flow management, payment processing, accounts payable/receivable tracking, expenditure monitoring, and financial reporting.
- Human Resources Department: Covers all employee lifecycle functions, from hiring and training to performance management and separation, ensuring a positive workplace environment.
- Program or Project Support: Assists donor-funded initiatives—ranging from community development projects to research activities—focused on tackling poverty-related challenges.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) from a recognised university, in Nigeria or abroad.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current NYSC corps member or recent NYSC graduate.
- Familiarity with donor-funded programs and administrative workflows.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Uphold confidentiality at all times.
- Exhibit professional work ethics.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively in a multicultural team.
- Proficient with computers, internet, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace; quick to learn new software.
- Interpret, analyse, and present internal data accurately.

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
