How Nigerians Can Qualify For FG’s Stipends For 774,000 Jobs – Minister
How Nigerians Can Get FG Scholarships for 774,000 Jobs: Minister
The minister said the federal government had decided to award scholarships to 774,000 jobs in all local authorities in Nigeria.
This benefit is in line with the National Employment Generation Department’s (NDE) plans to support businesses in 36 federal states.
According to information provided by Festus Kiyamo (San), the Minister of State for Labor and Employment, the Ministry of Finance is initiating the partial payment of scholarships.
A notice circulated by the Minister instructed the verification of all bank accounts and BVN.
The minister said the ministry would not fund the false bill. Therefore, all accounts need to be checked at their respective banks.
Kiamo said his ministry ordered “strict checks on partners’ accounts” before making payments to their bank accounts.
According to him, there are accounts that do not comply with the BVN, although many have too many accounts, which his ministry does not allow to avoid fraud.
In his words, Kiamo said that “only ACCS Bank responded with approved bills to settle, and the NDE began paying those bills today,” waiting for other banks to respond.
He added that the federal government will not accept any form of fraud and will not be subordinate to it.
