Modern Workplace Administrator

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Purpose
Responsible for supporting the design and implementation of Microsoft tools that meet both business goals and technical needs. The role helps create a collaborative environment that promotes effective program execution.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Work closely with the Microsoft 365 Product Owner to roll out Microsoft tools like Teams, Planner, Power Automate, and others for improved organizational processes.
  • Assist with user training and promote the use of new Microsoft 365 tools by preparing training plans and user materials.
  • Provide support for technical issues escalated from the help desk.
  • Handle deployment and configuration of Microsoft 365 services.
  • Administer user accounts and manage user roles.
  • Manage permissions and secure access.
  • Plan deployment of Office 365 apps and workloads.
  • Set up device management services.
  • Implement security and threat protection measures for Microsoft 365.
  • Oversee governance and compliance for Microsoft 365.
  • Identify opportunities to scale Microsoft tools like Power Platform.
  • Collaborate with the Microsoft 365 team to manage and implement platform innovations.
  • Assist in transferring content from different platforms (OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, etc.) to the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Provide support and guidance on Microsoft Power BI tools.
  • Design test cases for digital workplace tools like Teams, Exchange, and SharePoint.
  • Plan testing timelines and requirements.
  • Work with internal and external teams to meet project objectives.
  • Share regular updates on project progress, challenges, and milestones.
  • Offer technical assistance, prepare documentation, and support other team members.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Background in the tech sector is essential.
  • Proficient in managing Microsoft 365 and Power BI tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of Teams’ video/voice communication.
  • Hands-on experience with migrations from Skype, OneDrive, SharePoint to Teams.
  • Understanding of Azure Conditional Access and App Protection Policies.
  • Familiar with Group Policy Objects and Microsoft 365 security controls.
  • Strong understanding of Office 365 features and governance.
  • Up-to-date with Microsoft 365 platform updates.
  • Skilled in training users and providing support.
  • Capable of configuring Microsoft 365 to enhance process and document management.

Responsibilities

Legal Strategy & Leadership:

  • Serve as primary legal advisor to the CEO, board members, and executive leaders.
  • Lead and implement the legal framework aligned with company goals.
  • Manage all legal aspects including contracts, disputes, intellectual property, and employment law.

Corporate Governance & Secretariat Duties:

  • Act as Company Secretary and key board advisor.
  • Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Regulatory Affairs & Risk Oversight:

  • Broad knowledge of commercial, corporate, and regulatory laws.
  • Familiarity with legal systems in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and related regions.
