Wi-Fi Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

The Wi-Fi Project/Systems Engineer is in charge of planning and setting up carrier-grade and dependable Wi-Fi networks for enterprise clients, following agreed SLAs.
You will also handle the support and upkeep of existing Wi-Fi systems both in-house (Core) and for business clients (Access).
This includes managing all activities needed to deliver and maintain enterprise Wi-Fi services.
Key duties involve conducting site surveys to determine best-fit hardware and solutions, creating network designs, managing procurement, installation, and post-installation maintenance.
You’ll focus on ensuring excellent customer experience throughout all stages – from surveys to support.
You may also be required to lead training sessions for team members.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys and create reports suggesting the best and most cost-efficient solutions that meet technical and business goals.
  • Deploy, set up, and monitor Wi-Fi infrastructure based on defined service standards.
  • Suggest enhancements or new solutions based on evolving customer needs.
  • Provide in-person and remote support for all enterprise Wi-Fi systems, including events and managed services.
  • Guarantee 99.9% uptime for Wi-Fi systems and core platforms.
  • Maintain the same uptime for customer-specific services.
  • Send regular progress updates and weekly reports.
  • Work with other teams to build internal processes that support fast service delivery.
  • Maintain proper records of company equipment and ensure their upkeep.
  • Guide and support interns and riggers without micromanaging.
  • Foster good relationships with enterprise clients at all service stages.
  • Participate in relevant training programs or webinars.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Sc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.
  • Minimum of 1 year in the telecom field.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and project management; Cisco/PMP certifications are an advantage.
  • Experience with networking equipment (routers/switches).
  • Hands-on knowledge of wireless tech like RF, Radio, GSM, LTE, or Wi-Fi.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Visio and MS Project.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Must be skilled in creating network diagrams using MS Visio.

  • 3+ years in marketing, preferably in telecom or advertising.
  • Experience with a group marketing team setup.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and branding knowledge.
  • Knowledge of both digital and traditional marketing methods.
  • Ability to create marketing content that supports sales/customer experience.
  • Skilled in trend analysis and competitive insights.
  • Data-driven approach with solid reporting skills using Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

System Analyst / Developer

Job Summary

The core responsibility is to support and develop the OSS/BSS platform and its connection with other company tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build APIs and system modules for the OSS/BSS platform.
  • Create and execute test plans to confirm software quality.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience with web development tools like PHP, Python, Java, Ruby on Rails is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Telco OSS/BSS software, especially Freeside or FreeRadius, is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Angular, React, Vue), HTML5, CSS3, XML.
  • Strong experience in integrating systems using REST APIs.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and quality control.
  • Background in mobile and internet platforms.
  • Comfortable using version control tools (Git, SVN).
  • Problem-solving mindset and fast learner.
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Good communication and ability to explain tech concepts clearly.
