Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Lagos & Rivers

Job Description
Provides technical structural support to the Engineering team in relation to Onshore, Offshore & Deepwater assets.

Responsibilities

  • Execute preliminary, basic, and detailed structural studies and prepare relevant documents such as MTOs, calculations, and drawings.
  • Carry out structural evaluations as assigned.
  • Check contractor or company designs for adherence to company standards and legal/project guidelines.
  • Prepare equipment specs needed for procurement.
  • Assess subcontractor documents for technical accuracy.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and provide recommendations or changes.
  • Offer assistance to departments on structural matters.
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm compliance with technical standards.
  • Support contract evaluations and reviews in structural aspects.
  • Prepare and review procedures and standards for structural design inputs.
  • Take part in HAZOP, HAZID, and risk assessment reviews.

Accountabilities

  • Ensure strict HSE compliance.
  • Timely delivery of engineering deliverables.

Ethics and Compliance Objectives

  • Full adherence to the company’s code of conduct.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skilled in software like AutoCAD, STAADPro, SACS, or NSO.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Locations: Lagos and Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description
Provide technical support and experience in Instrumentation to the ECP engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct various phases of instrumentation engineering and prepare key deliverables such as MTOs, datasheets, loop diagrams, control philosophies, and more.
  • Review instrumentation documents for technical accuracy.
  • Check designs for compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Assist with preparation of procurement specifications.
  • Verify quality of subcontractor documents.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and provide changes or advice.
  • Guide departments and suggest solutions to technical challenges.
  • Work with equipment suppliers to ensure clarity and conformity with technical needs.
  • Review international standards and specifications for inclusion in design work.

Accountabilities

  • Fulfill instrumentation deliverables aligned with project objectives and HSE requirements.
  • Ensure instrumentation designs meet all applicable standards.

HSE Objectives

  • Follow all ECP and company-wide HSE requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5–10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas operations.
  • Knowledge of international engineering regulations.
  • Must be organized and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project tools.

Senior Contract Engineer

Location: Rivers State

Job Description
The duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure compliance with Contract Policies, ethics, and local regulations.
  • Check that contracts align with company and partner standards.
  • Oversee contract procedures during tender processes.
  • Partner with DUET to define contract scope, strategies, evaluations, and negotiations.
  • Customize contract templates for local use.
  • Provide advice and support on contractual matters.
  • Keep track of contracts, suppliers, and performance reports.
  • Ensure contract processes follow best practices and promote framework agreements.
  • Handle pre-consultation documents for tendering.
  • Ensure all contractual documents adhere to internal rules and legal standards.
  • Analyze and negotiate contract terms for best company benefit.
  • Take part in approvals and formal signing processes.
  • Use internal systems (UNISUP, AGORA, Ariba, etc.) effectively for contract management.
  • Help prepare legal files for disputes.
  • Monitor contractor performance and lead discussions on renewals or changes.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to company HSE, compliance, and operational guidelines.
  • Act immediately to reduce safety risks.
  • Join in HSE meetings, drills, and initiatives.
  • Promote a safety-first work culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Social Sciences, or related field (preferably Supply Chain).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas with at least 2 years in contracts management.
  • Professional memberships are an added bonus.
  • Skilled in MS Office tools.
  • Solid understanding of legal, commercial, and insurance issues.
  • Strong command of English and excellent communication skills.
