Finance and Accounts Executive

Location: Lagos

About the Job
We are in search of a Finance and Account Associate who will handle everyday financial activities and give useful advice to the management on current and upcoming financial matters.
The ideal person should have strong analytical skills, technical know-how, and excellent communication abilities.
We want a focused strategic thinker who is well-organised, good at problem-solving, and can perform well in a fast-moving business setup.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper process is followed before any departmental payment is made
  • Handle payments, assist in tax remittance and related activities
  • Carry out weekly reconciliation of bank statements
  • Update asset and liability records regularly
  • Support in preparing budgets and analysing variances
  • Post financial records into accounting tools
  • Assist with payroll preparation and repayments
  • Prepare regular financial summaries (weekly, monthly, etc.)
  • Carry out other tasks as assigned by the Head Of Operations

Education And Experience

  • HND / B.Sc Degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
  • 1 – 5 years work experience
  • Skilled in using Excel and accounting software like QuickBooks
  • Well-organised with attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving mindset
  • Able to handle and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Television Presenter

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Description
We are hiring a Presenter/Producer to become part of our award-winning broadcasting team.
This role needs a self-driven person who can provide fresh, original content to engage and inform viewers every day.

You’ll need to come up with new ideas, TV scripts, and creative ways to present stories from trending global news to online culture.

A strong background in journalism and previous work experience in a newsroom is needed.
We expect someone who enjoys producing high-quality TV reports and delivering accurate content. Experience in live broadcasting is an added bonus.

Candidates should be skilled in writing compelling scripts and storyboarding for key news features.
You must be adaptable, calm under pressure, and ready to adjust to last-minute story changes. Having the ability to shoot and edit your own content is highly beneficial.

KOKO airs every day, including holidays. The job involves rotating shifts between day and evening hours.

Requirements – Minimum Criteria

  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to make fast decisions under pressure
  • Excellent visual storytelling and scriptwriting skills
  • Familiarity with NBC broadcast rules and ability to follow them
  • Strong team collaboration and positive attitude
  • Clear understanding of KOKO News audience and content direction
  • Competency in filming and editing

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle various legal duties including preparing and reviewing contracts, compliance, intellectual property, investment, and more
  • Focus areas include corporate, commercial, and litigation law, locally and internationally
  • Prepare and negotiate agreements related to media and advertising
  • Give guidance on licensing, trademarks, image rights, and related legal issues
  • Provide regular support to internal teams, partners, and clients
  • Review marketing campaigns and respond to disputes or complaints
  • Assess risks and recommend solutions
  • Assist with other legal and development projects as required
