Job Summary
This position supports the technical division by testing, analyzing, and maintaining solar system parts to uphold product quality and ensure optimal performance. Candidates should have a technical background and a strong interest in renewable energy systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing and evaluation of solar panels and other related components.
- Analyze returned equipment and pinpoint reasons for malfunction.
- Keep accurate records of test results and follow lab protocols.
- Maintain and calibrate lab tools and devices.
- Ensure lab safety and cleanliness.
- Assist in prototype preparation and sample testing.
- Prepare weekly summaries on lab findings and equipment reliability.
Qualifications and Experience
- OND, HND, or BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- 1–2 years’ lab or technical work experience; experience in the solar industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of solar technology and components.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools like multimeters.
- Familiar with health and safety procedures in labs.
