Laboratory Technician

Job Summary
This position supports the technical division by testing, analyzing, and maintaining solar system parts to uphold product quality and ensure optimal performance. Candidates should have a technical background and a strong interest in renewable energy systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing and evaluation of solar panels and other related components.
  • Analyze returned equipment and pinpoint reasons for malfunction.
  • Keep accurate records of test results and follow lab protocols.
  • Maintain and calibrate lab tools and devices.
  • Ensure lab safety and cleanliness.
  • Assist in prototype preparation and sample testing.
  • Prepare weekly summaries on lab findings and equipment reliability.

Qualifications and Experience

  • OND, HND, or BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • 1–2 years’ lab or technical work experience; experience in the solar industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of solar technology and components.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools like multimeters.
  • Familiar with health and safety procedures in labs.
  • Skilled in Excel and documentation.
  • Strong focus and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience
