Large Engine Specialist
Location: Lagos
Role Overview
We seek a hands-on specialist with extensive experience overhauling Caterpillar 3600 and 3500 series engines. In this field role, you will lead major rebuild projects, offer expert technical guidance, and coach local teams, ensuring all work aligns with Caterpillar and Mantrac quality and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site technical support and practical training to engineering teams
- Perform complete rebuilds of CAT 3600 and 3500 engines
- Diagnose and repair Caterpillar equipment both at client locations and in workshop settings
- Produce comprehensive technical reports and failure analyses
- Adhere strictly to Caterpillar service procedures and safety guidelines
- Supervise teams during significant repair, rebuild, and assembly tasks
- Enforce safety measures, including proper use of lockout-tagout (LOTO) systems
- Conduct post-service inspections using Cat Inspect
- Manage warranty claims, investigate failure causes, and verify corrective actions
- Coordinate assembly of new machines, including handling logistics and non-Cat components
- Liaise with service management, product support, and customers to guarantee excellent service delivery
- Promote all dealership offerings—Parts, Service, Equipment Sales, and Multi-brand solutions
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience at a CAT dealership focused on engine rebuilds
- Proven track record with CAT 3600 and 3500 series engines
- Familiarity with MAK, MWM, or other gas engines is an asset
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and reporting capabilities
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop field engineering teams
- Trade certification or NVQ equivalent preferred
- Ready to relocate within Nigeria and travel across Mantrac zones

Sales Executive – Machine
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
Achieve or surpass set sales targets for our Electric Power Generation (EPG) product line within your assigned territory and market segment.
Main Function
- Secure orders that meet or exceed targets and negotiate high-value equipment sales
- Ensure full payment collection and proper preparation of sales documentation
- Visit current and prospective clients to maximize territory coverage
- Aggressively market the company’s offerings and generate new leads
- Provide customers and prospects with product-related technical advice
- Gather and relay market and competitor intelligence as needed
- Uphold the company’s reputation and maintain clear communication between clients and MNL management
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Engineering or related field
- At least 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or technical roles within the industry
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills; able to take initiative
- Good analytical and computer literacy
- Proven selling skills are an advantage

Requirements
