We are hiring to fill the following roles:
General Coordinator (Head of Mission)
Location: Abuja
Employment Type: 12-month contract
Summary:
Reporting to the Africa desk manager, you will oversee all operations related to MdM’s activities in Nigeria.
Main Duties:
- Lead recruitment, supervision, and support of mission personnel
- Work with key stakeholders to shape operational and advocacy strategies
- Oversee planning, monitor progress, and provide necessary technical input
- Represent MdM in external engagements with stakeholders and donors
- Manage agreements with partners and secure new partnerships
- Oversee fundraising efforts and manage mission finances
- Draft and enforce security policies, handle crisis management
- Ensure compliance with MdM procedures and reporting standards
Salary and Benefits:
- Gross Monthly Pay: €4,027
- Bonus equivalent to one month’s salary in 2 parts (6-month minimum)
- 10% monthly expatriation bonus
- Travel, visa, and vaccination costs covered

- 22.5 annual recovery days + 5 weeks paid leave

Humanitarian Access & Safety Officer
Location: Damboa, Borno
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and analyze the local security situation
- Ensure implementation of safety guidelines
- Build and maintain relations with local authorities and organizations
- Assess new operational areas and help teams navigate safely
- Oversee safety gear, communications, incident response, and access requests
- Deliver training on local safety and emergency protocols
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or similar; Security training preferred
- Relevant NGO or field security experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong communication skills
- Fluent in English, Hausa, and Kanuri
- Able to work in high-risk settings
Monthly Salary: N400,000 – N500,000

Grants Manager (Nationals Only)
Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time
Main Duties:
- Manage donor relations, proposal development, and reporting
- Coordinate proposal writing and ensure submissions meet guidelines
- Maintain funding calendars and liaise with HQ for grant compliance
- Support donor meetings and strategy alignment
- Draft and review MOUs with partners and authorities
- Assist with creating promotional materials and field communications
- Track visibility standards and donor branding rules
Required Skills and Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Humanitarian or Development fields
- 2+ years of grants or donor proposal experience
- Excellent writing and budgeting skills
- Understanding of donor compliance for BHA, GFFO, ECHO, etc.
- Proficiency in English; French is a plus
- Strong Excel and time management abilities
Monthly Salary: N400,000 – N500,000
