Data Analyst, Reconciliation & Payments

About the Role
As a Data Analyst focusing on Reconciliation & Payments, you will support Moove’s operations by analyzing data, ensuring its accuracy, and delivering actionable business insights. You will carry out exploratory analyses, automate regular data requests, and back business and product decisions with clear, data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain web and mobile applications that work across different browsers, collaborating with the team to refine existing features
  • Lead decision-making for your assigned web platforms
  • Clearly convey issues, choices, and proposed solutions to team members
  • Create prototypes and explain your design rationale effectively
  • Stay informed about new front-end technologies, particularly in JavaScript, to continually improve applications and user experience
  • Work with low-code/no-code tools as well as backend systems

Who You’ll Be Working With
You will report directly to our Lead Data Analyst and collaborate closely with colleagues in Product, Data, and Engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics
  • Strong SQL skills (including cohort analysis, advanced joins, window functions, etc.)
  • Experience using Python for exploratory data analysis and automation
  • Familiarity with BI/reporting platforms such as Looker, Holistics, or Quicksight
  • Proven track record in data analysis, working with business stakeholders to build reports and dashboards, and delivering insights; hands-on experience with statistical tools (Google Sheets, Python libraries)
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, critical thinking, and commercial awareness
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

People Partner (West Africa)

About The Role
You will translate business goals into strategic people initiatives that align with our People Strategy, driving growth, profitability, and high employee engagement. You will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, understand organizational objectives deeply, and provide leadership in people processes, programs, and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Help shape and execute business strategy by guiding leaders on building capabilities, structures, and processes for future needs
  • Manage payroll administration
  • Hold weekly meetings with business units
  • Offer HR guidance to line management as required
  • Analyze people metrics with the People Team to design solutions, programs, and policies
  • Handle complex employee relations cases and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Partner with Legal on HR matters as necessary
  • Provide guidance on performance management, including coaching, counselling, and disciplinary actions
  • Work to improve workplace relationships, morale, retention, and productivity
  • Interpret and advise on HR policies

People Data and Operations Specialist

About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous and driven People Data and Operations Specialist to join our People team on a full-time contract. You will handle key administrative tasks to ensure seamless People operations, using strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and report on people metrics and workforce demographics to inform decisions
  • Maintain internal dashboards and reports to monitor trends and suggest improvements
  • Examine metrics throughout the employee lifecycle to spot patterns and opportunities
  • Assist in forecasting workforce trends (attrition, hiring needs, skill gaps) using historical data
  • Help design and distribute engagement surveys, ensuring confidentiality and ease of access
  • Analyze survey feedback to highlight workplace satisfaction trends
  • Administer the HR information system, keeping records accurate and compliant with policies
  • Create and update user guides and system documentation for HiBob users
  • Manage and escalate system-related tickets
  • Support payroll processing by handling data collection, reviewing reports, and resolving discrepancies

  • Assist with ad-hoc People Ops projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR administration, operations, or analytics with exposure to workforce planning and system administration
  • Proficiency in HRIS (preferably HiBob), advanced Excel, Google Workspace, Looker Studio, basic SQL, etc.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced team, handling confidential data
