NDLEA releases candidates list for final screening
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has released shortlisted names for the final screening of qualified candidates for narcotic officers and narcotic assistants cadres.
It was learnt that the screening exercise, which was suspended in January due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will commence in batches in designated centres. Each of the shortlisted candidates should check the official website of NDLEA. The website is www.ndlea.gov.ng.
According to Mr BabaFemi, Director, Media and Advocacy of NDLEA, the names of the candidates are listed on the website of the agency. He urged the candidates to report at NDLEA headquarters, No. 6, Port Harcourt Crescent, Off Gimbiya Street, Area 11, Garki, Abuja.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency is a Federal agency in Nigeria charged with eliminating the growing, processing, manufacturing, selling, exporting, and trafficking of hard drugs. The agency was established by Decree Number 48 of 1989.
The NDLEA is present in international airports, seaports and border crossing. It tries to eradicate cannabis by destroying plantings. The NDLEA also targets the leaders of narcotics and money laundering organization.
