Today in this article I am going to share the current Empowerment Schemes available for all Nigerian business people
Following the recent condition which the Nigerian citizens passed through in the last decades in terms of unemployment, economic recession and poverty has challenged the President Gen. Muhammadu Buhari to used all strategic measures in curbing and fighting the present conditions.
However, the president in his capacity has set different ministries to work together in achieving a better result. As such, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sport Development has creates many Empowerment programmes for all Nigerian businessmen.
Some of which includes; COVID-19 Loan, Survival Fund, Nigerian Youth Investment Fund(NYIF), N-Power, Smallholder Economic Interest Farmers Agricultural Cooperative(SEIFAC), Work Experience Scheme and so on.
Therefore, today in this article I am going to share the current Empowerment Schemes available for all Nigerian business people. Although, some people have benefited in some of ths programs while some are yet to be benefited.
Below care the three current Empowerment Schemes available for all Nigerian business people:
1. Nigerian Youths Investment Fund(NYIF)
The Nigerian Youths Investment Fund (NYIF), is a government program that was designed early this year by the Federal Government of Nigeria for all Nigerian young Entrepreneurs.
However, over a thousand of applicants have benefited from the program while some are yet to be shortlisted. Applicants who applied for the program are advice to login to the official website https://nyif.nmfb.com.ng to update their bank details.
Nevertheless, following the recent report by the NYIF platform that the management have set to begins disbursement of funds to another batch of applicants.
2. Smallholder Economic Interest Farmers Agricultural Cooperative(SEIFAC)
This is another Empowerment Scheme that was established by the Federal government in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture to Empower Nigerian farmers by awarding of loans to Qualify persons. However, the program is ongoing, as some applicants have concluded the documentation process. Following the recent report, applicants are to visit any SEIFAC local office for the documentation process.
N-Power is a government approved program that was designed in the last few years for all Nigerian graduates and youths in the country. The program is ongoing for batch c as the physical Verification exercise is yet to commence in some parts of the country.
