Nigeria Immigration Service Recruitment- Latest Updates
Upcoming Jobs: We recently received news that the Nigerian Immigration Service is planning massive recruitment by 2023. This is good news for unemployed Nigerians seeking employment in the NIS. However, the Immigration Ministry has not yet issued any official notice. We will keep you posted as we get more details.
Current Updates:
The Nigeria Immigration Service has announced job openings for new positions in 2023. These positions are open to all Nigerians within the age limit and the application and recruitment process is free of charge. The application period will last for two weeks, after which a computer based test will be conducted.
The positions available;
1.) Assistant Superintendent of Immigration II (ASI II)
Applicants must be holders of a Bachelor’s Degree, Higher National Diploma or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
2.) Assistant Inspector of Immigration (AII), General Duty
Applicants must be holders of National Diploma (ND), NCE or advanced NABTEB obtained from any recognized institutions.
3.) Job Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) – Professional (Pharmacist) – CONPASS 1
Applicants must possess a minimum of First Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution of higher learning and NYSC Discharge / Exemption Certificate.
4.) Superintendent of Immigration (SI) – Professional (Medical Doctors)
Applicants must possess a minimum of First Degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution of higher learning and NYSC discharge/ Exemption certificate.
5.) Immigration Assistant III (IA III) CONPASS 03 General Duty
Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE / NECO, GCE or its equivalent with a minimum of Four (4) credits in not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English and Mathematics.
6.) Immigration Assistant III (IA III) – Artisan
Applicants must be holders of Ordinary Level SSCE, or its equivalents and appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
7.) Inspector of Immigration (II) CONPASS 07 (Nursing)
Applicants must be holders of RN, RM or both. And must have also attended the registration of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMC).
How to Apply for Immigration Recruitment 2023
The online application process is now active on the official NIS recruitment portal. In order to
apply visit to authorized portal at cdcfib.career. Applications are offered without fee.
The Civil Defense, Correctional Services, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has taken
responsibility of carrying out the application registration and selection process.
To ensure the successful submission of your application form It is important that you pay close
attention to the steps provided and follow them diligently. It is essential that you take the time
to read and understand each step carefully before proceeding. to avoid errors or oversights that may
lead to your application being rejected
Step 1: Visit the portal; https://cdcfib.career/new/account and create a new user account.
Note: If you already created login to start application process
Step 2: Provide information asked to complete the application process like: your personal
information, select the office you are looking for, enter your email address, phone number, and
password, then click the “Continue” button to generate an installation code.
Step 3: Recheck filled details and click the “save and continue” button.
Step 4: Resize your passport photo and it should not exceed 80KB in size, then click the “save and
continue” button.
Step 5: Fill academic details
Step 6: Click the “Submit” button to send the application form and print a copy of the notice.
Last date for submission of applications for recruitment is 29th January 2023. All applications must be fully filled and submitted within two weeks from the date of this announcement.
After submitting your application you will have to wait some time. Once the application process is
over, the shortlist will be released and if your name is in it, you will have to appear for the
Computer-Based Test (CBT). Only those selected will be informed about the appropriate date and time
for the examination.
