Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE) Limited, in collaboration with NNPC Limited and NAE PSC, is offering a postgraduate scholarship award for Nigerian graduates as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The scholarship is available for study both locally in Nigerian universities and internationally in reputable universities abroad. The scheme is designed for graduates with an interest in pursuing a master’s degree in fields such as Geosciences, Engineering, Petroleum Economics, and Law (Oil and Gas). The award is open to candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and are passionate about furthering their education in these disciplines.
NAE Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme 2025/2026
Scholarship Categories:
- Overseas: For study in a reputable international university.
- Local: For study in a recognized Nigerian university.
Course of Study:
- Geosciences
- Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Chemical, Offshore, Environmental, Renewable, etc.)
- Petroleum Economics
- Law (Oil and Gas/Petroleum)
Eligibility:
- Minimum Second-Class Upper Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Nigerian university.
- Admission to a Nigerian or Overseas university for a one-year master’s degree program in any of the listed disciplines.
- Not above 28 years of age by December 2025.
- Completed the one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
- Must possess an international passport (for the overseas category).
General Instructions:
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted with details of the qualifying test via SMS and email.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the aptitude test.
- Current and past beneficiaries of similar awards are not eligible.
- Employees and their dependents of NAE and affiliate companies are not eligible.
