NAF Speaks on 2020 Recruitment

The Nigerian Air Force has warned applicants to be aware of fake recruitment sites, the force noted that it is not recruiting.

Director of NAF Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola gave the warning in Abuja. He said, “The attention of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has been drawn to the activities of some unscrupulous individuals who are fraudulently extorting money from unsuspecting Nigerians under the guise of recruiting them into the NAF.

Furthermore, the NAF recruitment process is devoid of recruitment agents, hence anyone who claims to be operating in such capacity on behalf of the NAF is a fraudster. The NAF wishes to advise prospective applicants to promptly report anyone who solicits for payments for recruitment into the Service to the nearest NAF Unit or Nigeria Police Post. • Must be Nigerian citizens;
• Age between 18 and 22 years
• minimum stature of 1.63 m for female aspirants and 1.66 m for male applicants;

General Requirements for Tradesmen/Women

• Being Nigerian by birth and not having aquired another nationality.
• Age between 18 and 25 years  except for those applying as assistant chaplains / assistance imams and drivers who must be between 18 and 28 years
• minimum stature of 1.63 m for female aspirants and 1.66 m for male applicants;
• Applicant must have 2  passes with credit in English in SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB
• enjoyment of civil and political rights;
• never having been convicted of non-culpable offenses;
• Be halthy and fit clinically and psychologically.

NAF asked about people who reported important information regarding the alleged fraudsters to the nearest police station.

Security agencies issue telephone lines that can call potential applicants to report fraud.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) announced on Friday, June 14 that the recruitment process was free of charge from potential applicants.

NAF issued a telephone line including 09064432351, 09055840142, and 08053440802 to report any suspected criminals, who tried to extort / cheat the applicants.

NAF reaffirms that the entire recruitment process is truly free to be implemented in a uniform and transparent manner. It warns the public and especially applicants not to conduct financial transactions with anyone in the form of guarantees for recruitment to services.

The security agency said it was working to arrest criminals from illegal activities. It also advises applicants who urge any payment to report the nearest NAF unit or the Chawki Nigerian Police immediately.

He advised the public to not trust on the fake list of successful candidates online in the 2020 recruitment qualification exam.
