It offers EPIC and Project Management Solutions to the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical sectors.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

Managing Director

Location: Benin, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance:

  • Develop strategic plans that align with the organization’s goals, vision, and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Board to implement policies and uphold governance frameworks.
  • Drive the achievement of short- and long-term business goals.
  • Represent the company in high-level meetings with regulators, industry stakeholders, and the public.

Regulatory Compliance (CBN Returns & Reporting):

  • Ensure all CBN statutory returns are prepared and submitted on time.
  • Stay updated with CBN’s regulatory changes and ensure strict compliance.
  • Act as a liaison during routine and special CBN audits.
  • Address all CBN Management Letters promptly and implement recommendations.

Financial Management & Reconciliation:

  • Supervise preparation of accurate financial reports as per relevant standards.
  • Manage reconciliations at daily, monthly, and yearly intervals, avoiding unresolved items.
  • Track financial outcomes and provide updates to the Board and stakeholders.
  • Ensure robust internal controls and effective risk management.

Loan Portfolio & Recovery Management:

  • Oversee credit processes including approval and disbursement in line with policy.
  • Implement proactive loan monitoring and recovery strategies.
  • Lead collections and enforce legal actions for defaults when required.
  • Improve repayment habits and maintain a healthy Portfolio at Risk (PAR).

Filing, Documentation & Record Keeping:

  • Ensure accurate and timely filings with CAC, CBN, and tax agencies.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all operations and transactions.
  • Securely store client and regulatory records for easy retrieval.

Operational Oversight & Staff Management:

  • Supervise all departments for smooth operations and performance.
  • Promote performance-based culture through regular training and evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal HR procedures and disciplinary codes.
  • Lead management meetings and follow up on action points.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/HND in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years in financial services; 5 years in a senior management role within microfinance or regulated institutions.
  • Proven knowledge of regulatory compliance, loan recovery, and financial reporting.
  • Certifications like ACIB, ICAN, ACCA are preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of microfinance regulations and governance.

Financial Controller

Job Description
Seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead financial operations across various units including Microfinance Bank, Engineering SBU, Hotel, Poultry, School, Water Factory, Bakery, Spar, and Facility Maintenance. This role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and supports strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
Microfinance Bank:

  • Manage financial activities in accordance with CBN regulations and IFRS.
  • Prepare complete financial statements and ensure compliance.
  • Supervise budget preparation, forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Monitor liquidity, risk, and regulatory financial benchmarks.

Engineering SBU:

  • Handle all financial reporting for engineering projects.
  • Assess feasibility of engineering investments and manage project finances.
  • Support effective cost control and budgeting.

Other Units:

  • Hotel: Oversee finances for cost and revenue optimization.
  • Poultry: Manage costing, sales tracking, and inventory finance.
  • School: Oversee school budgeting and tuition management.
  • Water Factory: Ensure financial efficiency in production and distribution.
  • Bakery & Spar: Manage pricing, COGS, and profitability.
  • Facility Maintenance: Monitor maintenance budgets and financial adherence.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Deliver accurate financial statements and performance insights.
  • Conduct financial reviews to support cost-saving and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and local tax laws.

Budget & Forecasting:

  • Lead budgeting processes across all departments.
  • Compare budgets to actual performance and address discrepancies.
  • Provide reliable forecasts for planning and resource allocation.

Internal Control & Risk:

  • Implement strong internal controls and conduct periodic audits.
  • Ensure operational compliance with tax and regulatory standards.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Oversee liquidity across all units and ensure prompt payments.
  • Optimize working capital and advise on funding requirements.

Tax Compliance:

  • Ensure timely tax filing across all units.
  • Liaise with auditors and remain up-to-date with changing tax rules.

Team Leadership:

  • Guide the finance team through mentorship and skills development.
  • Drive a results-oriented finance culture and oversee audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • ACA, ACCA required; Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • 8–10 years in finance across multiple industries including banking and engineering.
  • Experience handling consolidated financials and compliance in varied sectors.
