Npower Batch C: FG Releases Date For Shortlisted Candidates

Goodnews to those who applied for NPower as federal government announces date for the shortlisted candidates. This list is specific for those on Batch C, Stream 2 precisely. 

This information is brought to you by the minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster, management and social development Sadiya Farouq. She stated that the federal government will pick only 1 million candidates out of 5 million applied candidates. Although the selection was initially set for 500,000 candidates but was later changed to 1 million beneficiaries.

From the ministry of humanitarian, it was said that those who wrote and passed the exams but were not shortlisted is because of geographical territories, as only those with a score above 70% were selected in locations where it’s population is high.

Sadiya Farouq went further to explain that if local government A has over 1,000 applicants, the selected candidates from such local government will score within 70% to 100%. And if local government B has a lesser population below 1000, any candidate who score within 0% 35% can still be selected s as to balance applicants coming from that territory.

The date for the shortlisting begings from the 15th of June to 30th.
