WHAT IS NPOWER STIPEND
Participants of Npower program, being unemployed may not be able to afford the cost of commuting to work, traveling to and living in a deployed area for the program. N-power program pays a fixed amount of money in addition to wages or salary to aid participants commute to work effectively.

Npower January 2020 Stipend Latest News
This section is basically a news for the 2020 January Npower monthly stipend payment for Npower Teach, Npower Agro, Health, Tech, Knowledge and Npower tax beneficiaries.
We know that all employees are ready and waiting for the monthly payment for the first month in 2020. By the way, your amount will be paid by 2020 January stipend or salary.
We have received information from reliable sources that the stipend / salary will be paid from 31st January, 2020 to the first week of February 2020, hopefully all beneficiaries can receive their payments.
Federal employees usually receive their wages between the 25th and 30th of each month. But N-Power beneficiaries – classified as Federal Government workers too – do not have a consistent payday.
Today is the fifth day of the February of the year 2020, yet, beneficiaries have not been settled their January stipend.
Many beneficiaries have tried to contact officials to know when they will get salary for the month of January. But there is no response from the government yet.

The Official page have taken to it page of Facebook to address beneficiaries over the none payments which stated as “All we can say is that you will be paid your stipend, and Npower is not ending anytime soon , we are still up and running. Npower Cares.”
FG Explained on Delayed Payments
The Nigerian government Monday gave reasons for the delay in payment of two monthly stipends given to the beneficiaries of its social intervention program.
The Social Development Minister Sadiq Farooq says the ministry which is currently engaged in the National social investment programme NSIP close to heads of for clarifications the process of both Npower and the NSIP programs Farouk phone has suggested that if retention of Npower beneficiaries whose contract had expired were also us responsible for the delay of their payments.

Npower News – FG Gives Update On Community Policing As Regard To N-power Job
The federal Government of Nigeria recently gave an info concerning community policing recruitment.It’s an obvious fact that FG is considering using Npower Volunteers for community policing,which necessitated why volunteers were provided with transition iconic platform where they are at liberty to make their choice of preferences,be it community policing,teaching or field agents Jobs.Majority of volunteers chose community policing and quite a number of them also preferred teaching job with UBE.
This prompted one jimor Adebayor to forward a message to the Npower Twitter handle saying “so beneficiaries are no longer entitled to community policing gain”? Npower official quickly responded and said “issues of community policing will be handled at its due time”
FG sacks 30 N-Power beneficiaries
There have been reports that the federal government has sacked 30 beneficiaries of its N-Power program in Adamawa State.
Mary Yuwadi, Focal Person of the federal government’s Social Investment Programs ( SIP), who made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) on Wednesday in Yola noted that the 30 teachers, were dismissed for absconding from duties at their places of primary assignment.
” The federal government has also stopped their monthly payment. This will serve as deterrent for other members who are not serious in their places of work.
”We also found out that some of those who registered, were civil servants working in various local government areas across the state,” she said.

It is reported that the Federal Government has stated that N-Power beneficiaries will be exited before the end of 2020.
The revelation was made by the Minister of Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadia Farooq at the recent press conference.
During this, Farooq also said that the first batch of the npower program was dropped in 2018.
Voiceofnigeria.orf.ng’s news reports that the federal government made a surprising revelation that the federal government would exclude beneficiaries from the year before.
The federal government had made it clear that while launching the program that the program would run for a maximum of two years, stating that all the beneficiaries knew that after two years their services would not be needed again.
