Npower Batch C2 to Receive Payment for 3-Month Backlog

Npower is providing information about stipend payments and other important topics related to the Npower program. Keep reading to stay informed!

The Npower team will soon pay those in batch C2 who haven’t received their stipends for three months, after the payment of 7500 NSIP independent monitors’ stipends.

The government of Nigeria has restarted giving N20,000 cash grants to social investment programs to support vulnerable groups. This was initiated in Anambra State on January 17th 2023.

Sadiya Umar Farouk, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, oversees the program and sent a deputy director from the ministry, Mr. Charles Anaelo, to carry out the payment process.

Many of you have questions about the delay in payment. This is understandable because there is a lot of false information being spread on different media and social media platforms.

Anyone or any platform claiming that you won’t receive your stipend this month is only trying to get more clicks and views, given the current situation.

You will receive your stipends soon, just be patient.

Your monthly stipends are being processed and will be delivered to you using the same payment method you have been using.

Beneficiaries of Npower are threatened to go on strike.

Npower batch C Stream 2 participants are unhappy about not receiving their stipends just before the end of the year. They have threatened to go on strike if they are not paid by the Federal Government.

The participants have informed the Federal Government that they have not received their monthly stipend for three months, despite restarting their duties in October 2022.

Some beneficiaries have asked the government to pay their allowances so they can buy food for the holiday celebrations.

The government’s inaction on their stipends for three months without any explanation is seen as disgraceful and painful by the beneficiaries.

The beneficiaries are frustrated with the lack of payment despite restarting their duties in October and submitted their application to participate in the Npower program in 2020.

They feel ignored and are concerned about rumors that the minister said she has paid all the beneficiaries and owes no one.

The Npower program has been surrounded by controversies, including delayed or non-payment of stipends, since its implementation in 2016.

D’banj was arrested by the ICPC for alleged fraud in the Npower project, involving the recruitment of 90,000 fake workers.

The Npower participants are worried about this news as it may impact their monthly payments or the continuation of the program.

How to ensure you get paid by NPower

You need to know this. NPower will pay you after you have worked for them. It is their duty to ensure that you get empowered. The program has been active since the first term of our incumbent President. They want to make the unemployed people happy.

If you want to be considered as a qualified beneficiary, then do the right thing. Doing what you have to do is important. NPower already has all the rules that can update you. You can conversely ask questions if you are confused on any area of the program. The team is liable to answer your questions because they are here for you.

You might have a brother who did his own registration and you want to follow him. There is no need to rush things. Every applicant is important to the scheme. Take your time and put up the right details.

Applying twice for the opportunity is an exception. It is better you tell others about it than to apply again. The scheme has a coordinated database. They have the records of those who have applied before and those who just applied. You will be seen as unserious if you try to apply again.

Paying people twice is what the program has been trying to avoid. They require your “Bank Verification Number (BVN)” to solve the problem of double payment. Ensure that you use the correct BVN to avoid error in your payment.

It is better not to get yourself involved in this opportunity than to come in and embarrass yourself. Some beneficiaries believe that they would not work, but they would be paid. That is a wrong ideology. You must work in order to get paid.
