NPVN Transition Portal– What is Npower Transition Survey
Federal Government introducing the N-Power Transition survey which they said is “to help further map Batch 1 beneficiaries to available economic opportunities”,
The government adds that it aims “to improve specialized training to matched opportunities” for beneficiaries of the scheme.
The transition survey will only help N-power Nigeria to understand the best place to fix beneficiaries.
All 2016 volunteers are encouraged to visit npvn dashboard to start filling the Npower transition survey form.
Below are some key takeaways:
- Participation in the survey DOES NOT guarantee employment or retention.
- It is in NO WAY CONNECTED TO THE EXIT OF N-POWER VOLUNTEERS from the Programme.
- Presented options are NOT FINAL and more options will be made available periodically depending on economic realities.

The first batch of 2016, is made up of A-set of 200,000 beneficiaries, who have spent more the agreed contract date of 2 years.
However, the first batch is counted lucky, because their exit package is underway. No beneficiaries of the N-power programme will go back to the street, begging to be employed, never.
In her words, “All volunteers shall be accorded with a good exit package, in line with president Buhari set agenda of bringing out 100 million Nigerians Out of extreme poverty in 10 years’ time,” minister said.

NPower News – Yesterday Minister Meeting With Mr Afolabi Possible Discussion And Outcome
on December 17, 2019 in npower news
Yesterday the 16th of December 2019, the Honorable Minister of humanitarian affairs Sadiya Umar Farouq shared an updated regarding her meetup with Mr Afolabi and other NSIP Cluster heads. So we decided to share what we believe and hope that they have discussed! Lots of things regarding the future of N-Power programme and how to better improve the programme. We are beginning top see the result of the meeting as the outstanding October stipend for batch A 2016 beneficiaries are been paid today.
We assumed that what we are seeing on ground today, both parties might have discussed about it since they are key things needed to be discussed for the future of the programme. below are the things:
1) The future of 2016 N-Power volunteers transition into a sustainable venture
2) Preparation to begin recruitment of new volunteers in 2020
3) How to better improve the N-Power non graduate component to empower more Nigerians youths with entrepreneurial and digital skills
4) Better welfare for the N-Power beneficiaries in order to perform their duties appropriately at the various places of theirprimary assignment.
5) 2017 beneficiaries device selection and distribution is probably one of the key discussion because that has long over due.
