Yes, the news is confirmed. The Nigerian prison service and the country’s fire service are about to give jobs to nearly 10,000 Nigerians.
The federal government of Nigeria has approved the continuation of recruitment in the Nigerian prison service and the Federal Fire Service.
The Prisons Service will provide employment to 7,475 Nigerians and Fire Service Department will recruit 2,200 new employees. Both of these are Government Agencies and both have got sanction for recruitment from Civil Defense, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Services Board.
Let me tell you for your knowledge that recruitment was started last year in two Para-military agencies, but due to some unknown and compulsory reasons, they were suspended.
A statement signed by the Secretary of the Board, Al-Hassan Yakmut, said the Chairman of CDFIPB gave him approval on the board’s meeting between May 9 and May 10 in Abuja. He wished the candidates a successful career in the services and pledges to ensure the board’s commitments before adequate deployment
