NYIF Account Update: Simple Steps To Update Your Account Details

Today in this article, I am going to share simple steps on how to update your account details in the NYIF official portal https://nyif.nmfb.com.ng, using your mobile phone.

However, the NYIF program was designed by the federal government to eradicate the intensity of recession and economy instability, in the country.

The Federal Government, led by His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari, have employed all strategic measures to curb the high rate of poverty and unemployment in the country through the Approval of Empowerment programs.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Youth Investment Fund(NYIF), was also one of the strategies of the Federal Government to remedy the intense effect that might arise from economy instability. The program featured training which covers business ideation, financial management and other important aspect in business.

All successful candidates were entitled to receive over N300,000 into their registered bank account. The first and second batch applicants in the program have already finished their first batch training and disbursement in March-April and are yet to shortlist another batch of Applicants.

Following the recent update from the NYIF official website that the payment for other Successful applicants will be rolling out soon as update of account number details button is provided on the website.

Here are the Steps To update your account Details in the NYIF Website: 

1. Login to the NYIF official portal https://nyif.nmfb.com.ng.

2. Click on the “dashboard” and select the account update icon.

3. Then on the icon, select ‘account update’ and provide your bank details.

4. Then click on “Summit.”

Therefore, after going through the above steps, you are to wait for some days for a reply from the NYIF management, which will be sent to your email address. As such, applicant operating as tier one customer should endeavor to visit their respective banks for account upgrade, as some applicant’s bank account may not hold up to N200,000.
