Senior Reservoir Engineer

Purpose
Provide professional reservoir management services for existing fields.
Deliver engineering expertise and guidance for projects through all life-cycle phases, from initial opportunity identification to end-of-life planning.
Integrate subsurface and operational parameters for dynamic analyses, enhancing recovery rates and production potential.
Provide team leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- Guide interns and entry-level reservoir engineers
Scope of Responsibility & Accountability:
- Participate in integrated team field development planning
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory protocols in operations
- Initiate strategies for improved production performance
- Mentor junior professionals and lead process optimization
Essential Function:
- Oversee and evaluate pressure transient testing plans and analysis
- Design and review appraisal programs and reservoir data collection (PVT, RCAL, MDT, etc.)
- Quality-check third-party data reports and lab analysis
- Create production forecasts and reservoir performance predictions
- Recommend effective surveillance and reservoir monitoring programs
- Perform reservoir simulation to test recovery strategies

Job Specification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering field
- 5–8 years of practical experience
- Expertise in reservoir management areas such as decline curve analysis, simulation, forecasting, and field planning
- Proficiency in reservoir engineering tools: OFM, MBAL, PROSPER, Eclipse, Petrel, Saphir
- Advanced MS Office knowledge
- Bonus: Petroleum economics experience
