Human Resources & Administrative Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary
We are looking for an organized and proactive HR Officer to assist the Head of Human Resources in carrying out major HR duties.
This role will be in charge of key HR activities such as hiring, onboarding, employee relations, performance evaluation, compliance, and staff training.
The position will contribute to a productive and well-coordinated work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Assist in writing job descriptions and posting job openings.
  • Coordinate screening, interview scheduling, and background checks.
  • Handle onboarding, including staff orientation and documentation.
  • Keep the recruitment tracking system updated.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain digital and hardcopy employee records.
  • Prepare HR documents including offer, confirmation, and warning letters.
  • Help in implementing HR policies and staff guidelines.
  • Support payroll by verifying attendance and leave data.

Performance Management:

  • Assist with quarterly and yearly performance review processes.
  • Monitor probation and appraisal timelines.
  • Compile performance reports for HR leadership review.

Training & Development:

  • Coordinate training schedules and support logistics.
  • Track training participation and assess outcomes.
  • Research potential training providers and opportunities.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Be a contact point for employee concerns and support issue resolution.
  • Contribute to employee engagement plans.
  • Help organize events, staff meetings, and welfare programs.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and HR rules.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits.
  • Generate HR reports including leave balances, turnover, and headcounts.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Admin, or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of solid HR experience.
  • Professional certification (CIPM or equivalent) is required.
  • Good knowledge of Nigerian labor laws.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High confidentiality and emotional maturity.
  • Able to multitask and work independently.

Procurement Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Procurement Manager with Oil & Gas procurement background to manage material and equipment sourcing efficiently and within budget.

Key Deliverables
This position will handle supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, ensure timely delivery, and maintain compliance with all regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee complete procurement workflow (from requests to payments).
  • Source project-specific equipment and materials.
  • Align procurement with budget and project timelines.
  • Work with internal teams to define procurement needs.
  • Estimate future demands for goods and services.
  • Assess and maintain vendor databases.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing for best value.
  • Track supplier performance and compliance.
  • Ensure safety and procurement rules are followed.
  • Generate and analyze procurement reports.
  • Adopt e-procurement tools to improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate deliveries and manage supply chain disruptions.
  • Monitor stock levels and procurement risks.

Competencies

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years in procurement, ideally Oil & Gas.
  • Strong knowledge of vendor networks and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with procurement tools and reporting systems.
  • Solid negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Leadership ability and strong team management.
  • Sound understanding of procurement rules and software.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver under pressure.
