Cafe Manager

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

The Cafe Manager will lead and manage all daily activities at the café. You will supervise operations, improve customer experience, and help drive growth and revenue.

Leadership:

  • Identify skills gaps and organize training for the cafe team
  • Design and enforce essential policies like food safety and customer service standards
  • Build systems for inventory, product reception, and equipment use

Operations:

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Develop plans for business growth
  • Monitor compliance with operational standards
  • Keep inventory records accurate
  • Maintain hygienic food handling practices
  • Ensure the kitchen remains clean and organized
  • Control costs and reduce waste
  • Oversee inventory control
  • Assign and manage work schedules
  • Maintain clear communication with staff
  • Ensure efficient workload planning
  • Work towards cost-effective target achievements

Sales:

  • Reach sales goals and grow customer base
  • Prepare sales and expense reports
  • Create strategies that focus on increasing profits
  • Customer Experience:
  • Handle complaints with professionalism
  • Respond to customer questions
  • Suggest methods to retain and attract more customers

Others:

  • Submit weekly and monthly performance reports
  • Assess staff performance regularly
  • Stay updated with F&B trends
  • Suggest ways to improve cafe branding
  • Carry out other assigned tasks

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Business, Hospitality or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles
  • Culinary training is required
  • Extra certifications are an advantage

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth F&B knowledge
  • Strong food presentation skills
  • Experience with cafe management tools (e.g. Open-table, Peach-works)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Budget management
  • Understanding of safety regulations

Sales Manager

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Summary : Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Sales Manager will design and implement effective sales strategies and equip the sales team with tools to manage and convert client relationships. You will also handle sales reports, CRM updates, forecasting, and lead management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage sales expenses to meet gross margin targets
  • Identify challenges and propose process improvements
  • Coordinate with support teams for sales strategy development
  • Supervise Retail Manager to resolve pricing issues
  • Maintain and update sales department policies and materials
  • Use data to coach and guide the team
  • Track product demand and pricing trends
  • Drive sales both directly and through distribution channels
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies

Qualifications:

Operation Manager

Location: Lagos

Description Working closely with the MD/CEO, the Operations Manager will manage the daily operational tasks of the organization, particularly in manufacturing and sales functions.
