The Job
- Operate breakfast cereals drum dryer in line with standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure products meets the required specifications.
- Perform autonomous maintenance on the drum dryer, kitchen and CIP plant to prevent breakdown.
- Ensure machines are set up at the beginning of shift to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Perform the adjustment of drum dryer and roller dryer gap to determine flake sizes, thickness and moisture content
- Troubleshoot problems during machine operations.
- Carry out parameter adjustments for the right moisture content, flakes thickness and colour.
The Person Must
- Have good communication skills
- Possess good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
- Be attentive to details and computer skills
Qualification
- OND in Science or Engineering related discipline
- 5 O’level credits including English and Mathematics in not more than 2 sittings
Experience:
- At least 3 years relevant experience in related industry
