General Manager (Utilities & Facilities Management / Community Services)

Job Description

Reporting to the Group CEO, the General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all utilities, community facilities, and security services. The role will involve managing service providers, ensuring profitability and efficiency, and implementing strategic plans to enhance operations across all assigned units.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities

  • Utilities & Facilities:
    Oversee profitable operations for utilities, including power, water, and broadband internet. Manage all facility teams to ensure communities are well-serviced and collaborate with the construction team to ensure effective management of residential and commercial assets.
  • Financial Management / Revenue Assurance:
    Ensure the profitability of utilities and community services, meeting financial targets, and managing operational costs across the communities.
  • Clients & Stakeholder Management:
    Resolve community issues, coordinate quarterly engagement sessions, and manage client relationships.
  • Commercial Services / Leasing & Communal Facilities:
    Oversee the profitability and efficiency of commercial facilities, including business offices and recreational parks.

Educational Qualifications / Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree or other postgraduate certifications.
  • Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in facilities or community management or in a customer service/relationship management role.
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience with direct reports.

Skills Required

  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability in conflict resolution, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Salary: N850,000 – N900,000 Monthly.

Recruitment Consultant
