SPW Second Payment: Labor Minister Festus Keyamo Gives Update

Following an order from the federal government to start paying a second tranche of N20,000 scholarships to each of its 774,000 participants in its Special Public Works (SPW), some applicants began to enjoy fame and others had not yet received Zenith Bank users.

Today, the Honorary Minister of State for Labor and Employment, Festus Keyamo, removed the air for being late in settling several bills in the same BVN.

“Having eliminated the problem of multiple accounts with the same BVN and other anomalies, as my office pointed out, I can confirm that Zenith Bank started paying SPW participants today. For those who have not received, they will be FULLY paid if properly registered.

Hon Festus Keyamo added that the second payment of the program will start when the first participant is eliminated.

“The second installment will only start when all duly registered participants in the program receive the first installment. There is no money in the banks. CBN credits bank accounts if the banks have tidied up their homes. ”
