Audit, Loss / Control and Compliance Officer
Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to internal guidelines, company policies, and regulatory standards.
- Investigate, document, and report any fraud or discrepancies to safeguard business interests.
- Review supplier invoices and expense claims both before and after payments to verify accuracy.
- Conduct inventory audits periodically at various branches and main stores; note and report inconsistencies.
- Examine inventory records in business software (e.g., Tally) and confirm they match physical counts.
- Check product pricing through spot reviews and transfer documentation to detect potential losses.
- Monitor product expiry dates and propose actions to reduce wastage across retail locations.
- Validate goods received and distributed to branches against supplier billing.
- Confirm proper documentation and reconciliation of product transfers within the system.
- Participate in special audits and perform other tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- B.Sc. in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in auditing, preferably in retail or FMCG.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Analytical mindset and sound judgment.
- Demonstrates integrity and strong work ethics.
- Capable of working independently and in teams.
- Skilled in time management and goal setting.
- Attention to detail and knowledge of MS PowerPoint and accounting tools like Tally ERP.
