We are hiring to fill the positions listed below:

Trainee Accountant

Location: Lagos

Job Description
We are in search of an energetic, detail-driven Chartered Accountant to join our financial team.
This role is designed for a responsible Trainee Accountant who will be guided by a Senior Accountant.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handling routine accounting tasks such as recording income and expenses into the system.
  • Managing vendor invoices, payments, and issuing invoices to clients.
  • Verifying entries for accuracy, making corrections where necessary, and organizing documents.
  • Supporting other tasks such as payroll processing, quarterly tax updates, asset audits, and cost tracking.
  • Collaborating with experienced accountants to understand different operational areas of the business.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of a Nigerian university with at least a Second Class Upper Degree (B.Sc) in Accounting.
  • Applicants should not be older than 25 years.

Chartered Accountant

Location: Lagos

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and driven Chartered Accountant to become part of our finance team.
Our company, based in the Lekki Free Zone, is a leading producer and distributor of agricultural inputs in Nigeria.

Job Summary
Reporting to the General Manager (Finance and Accounts), the Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records and ensuring compliance. The position plays a key role in financial reporting and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily financial operations.
  • Create and review financial reports like balance sheets, profit and loss, and cash flows.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
  • Maintain the general ledger with precision.
  • File accurate tax returns and maintain compliance in multiple countries.
  • Develop accounting processes and policies.
  • Carry out internal audits and ensure internal controls are in place.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and check financial documents.
  • Prepare and evaluate group budgets and forecasts.
  • Deliver financial insights and updates to senior management.
  • Work with external auditors and financial regulators.
  • Lead and train junior team members.
  • Improve and streamline accounting functions.
  • Support other accounting responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is an added benefit.
  • Must have a professional certification like ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
  • Up to 10 years’ experience in accounting, preferably within one of the Big Four firms, a Free Zone, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of IFRS and financial reporting.
  • Expertise in tax regulations in Nigeria and/or Ghana.
  • Experience with tools like Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, or QuickBooks.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be organized and able to meet deadlines.

Truck Driver

Location: Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
We are hiring a skilled truck driver who can safely and promptly deliver products to our clients.
The driver will be responsible for the assigned truck and will work closely with dispatchers to plan and track deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Transport goods over long distances.
  • Maintain delivery logs.
  • Refuel, wash, and maintain the vehicle.
  • Comply with traffic rules.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.
  • Follow safety procedures in case of accidents.
  • Report mechanical problems to the maintenance team.
  • Ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Maintain a courteous approach with clients.
  • Keep a valid and current commercial driver’s license.

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate).
  • Must be skilled in driving Dyna (5-ton), 15-ton, and 30-ton trucks.
  • Must be over 33 years old.
  • Should be comfortable traveling to any region in Nigeria.
  • Fluency in more than one major Nigerian language is preferred, with at least three years of driving experience.
