If you haven’t been invited to NYIF loan training yet (do this now!)
For your information, Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) has now started training 10,000 registered youth under its platforms, all of whom are shortlisted. Those whose names were not shortlisted should check their mail for details.
One of the nice and surprising things is that even the names of the applicants who were not shortlisted out of 10,000 are also receiving NYIF loan training by invitation email.
So it is important for you to always check your mailbox or your phone SMS if you have not yet been invited for training.
If you are among the 10,000 shortlisted for training, you will definitely be invited for training, although training will stop by 2022 due to a large number of participants.
Your password and login details for the training meeting through the Zoom app are all in the mail that NYIF will send you
Applicants have started receiving email invitations and are in batches, instructing applicants on the date, time and requirements of their training.
Upto 10,000 persons are to be trained on time and up to 3,000 Naira funds will be given to each applicant at the completion of the training.
According to the Minister for Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dera, “With the successful completion of this pilot project, NIRSAL has cleared the names of another 10,000 for training and subsequent loan approval and disbursement.
How to check your name in 10,000 lists automatically released by NYIF, enter your BVN dial-up box, your status will be displayed within 5 seconds.
Loans are in the range of two hundred and fifty thousand (N250,000) to three million naira (N3,000,000) for now.
The names of the shortlisted applicants are available on FMYSD website and NOYA website. Checks done include Age, BVN whether the individual has an existing government loan or has received COVID-19 business payments
How to Prepare For Training (Training Manual)
- Since the training will be online on the Zoom app, there are some things that must be done for online training to be successful.
- Check your email to see if you are selected.

- Complete all assigned tasks.
- Information sharing sessions on Zoom as detailed below.
- Only Successful candidates will be contacted subsequently.
Before you take the training, please ensure that you:
- Have good Internet connection.
- You won’t be interrupted.
- Have read all the training materials thoroughly
