Job Description
We are looking for a well-organized and experienced Storekeeper to manage inventory at Ovic Hotel.
This role supports hotel operations by keeping track of stock, ensuring timely supply, and working across departments to maintain smooth inventory systems.
Candidates should have excellent attention to detail, be highly organized, and able to implement inventory controls with precision in a hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Handling:

  • Receive and check all incoming goods to match orders and quality standards.
  • Accurately log inventory details in stock systems including quantities and expiry dates.
  • Organize storage areas with proper labeling and categorization.
  • Monitor stock and request restocking to prevent running out or excess items.
  • Do routine physical stock audits and fix differences in records.
  • Identify items that are outdated or slow-moving and suggest action.

Stock Distribution:

  • Process requests from departments and issue items accordingly.
  • Deliver items promptly to the right departments with proper records.
  • Work with procurement to meet urgent supply needs.

Safety & Hygiene:

  • Keep all store areas in line with hygiene and safety rules.
  • Use proper handling practices to avoid stock damage.
  • Maintain right conditions for storage of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Regularly review and adjust inventory SOPs.

Reports & Communication:

  • Prepare inventory usage and forecasting reports.
  • Contact suppliers on delivery or quality concerns.
  • Coordinate with departments on supply planning.
  • Inform management about any supply risks or stock delays.

Experience Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years working in stock management, especially in hospitality.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage inventory systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hotel stock operations is an advantage.

Skills Needed

  • Software Knowledge: Hands-on use of inventory tools like SAP or NetSuite.
  • Organizing: Ability to multitask and manage priorities.
  • Analysis: Detail-focused and able to identify inventory issues.
  • Communication: Good in writing and speaking with internal teams and vendors.
  • Physical Ability: Should be able to lift and move items.
  • Problem Solving: Can handle issues like missing or spoiled items proactively.
