Yomfield Nursery and Primary School is located at Tejumola Estate, opposite the Police post, Obantoko, Abeokuta, Ogun State. It was established in September 1996 with the main goal of offering educational services to all Nigerians. The school currently runs a Daycare unit along with its Nursery and Primary sections. It is a day school built to raise children from an early stage using the play-way method before introducing them to other forms of learning to prepare them for future responsibilities in society.
We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
Mathematics Teacher
Location: Abeokuta, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Teach core subject(s) to students in designated classes
- Be present and punctual for all scheduled lessons
- Organize regular class tests, assessments, homework, and projects; mark all submissions and maintain continuous assessment records
- Participate in afternoon lessons based on the school timetable
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of B.Sc. or B.Ed. in Mathematics, Statistics, or closely related fields from a recognized institution
- Should have at least 2 years of relevant experience teaching Mathematics
- Good knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum for primary schools
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Must pay attention to detail and possess excellent organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure
- Can work both independently and collaboratively
